mentalEscape is a music project that was started somewhat in 2000 under different, now defunct stage names such as Detrude and Synthetical. The style of music, as you can judge by sample songs provided via the links, varies from various aspects of Electronic music. As of late 2005 and 2006, the music of mentalEscape project has been described as 'Dark Electronica' or 'Hard Electronica' with its combination of gritty bass lines, hard beats and dark/surreal soundscapes.

 

I am always looking for creative remixers, vocalists/MCs to work with and put their touch on my tracks, so if you are one of them, get in touch with me so we can cook something up. I'm an audiophile who grew up listening to rock, heavy metal, industrial and progressive dance music. I enjoy combining elements of rock and electronic music in any way possible mainly because life is way too short to be stuck listening to only one style of music, or maybe I'm just a product of a music fan who listened to too many styles of music at once.
